MOVIE: “DIAMONDS IN THE SNOW” Monday, April 28, 2014 at 7:00 pm at Best Video. Free for Temple members. Best Video Café will be open for coffee, soda, etc. In recognition of “Holocaust Remembrance Day,” the Adult Education Committee is proud to present a showing of the critically-acclaimed, award-winning film, “Diamonds in the Snow.” It tells the story of three children, Ada, Shulamit, and the filmmaker herself, Mira. These women recount their memories of a childhood spent hiding from the Nazis and reflect the courage of the Polish people who helped them survive. We are pleased that Mira Reym Binford will introduce the film and lead the discussion after the one-hour documentary. Adult Ed Committee member, Ira Kleinfeld will introduce Mira Binford.

Because of the renovation of the Best Video Performance space (where the movies are shown), showing the two remaining movies in the series:
“Mulholland Drive” scheduled for March 24th, and “Memento,” scheduled for March 31st, will be postponed until the space is ready.
